The Third Mullet // Vintage Poster

Short story time-

Since 2022 I have tried to keep the Mullet haircut but it never turned out the way I wanted it to, even after getting it cut twice the style never became that prominent on me. This poster is called 'The Third Mullet' because I always gave up on keeping the style after the 2nd haircut, but after reading more about it, I learnt that for the style to get in shape, at least 3 haircuts are required before it starts to be distinctive!

So in 2023 - After I got my 3rd Haircut (finally!) and didn't give up on the mullet, it was eventually looking distinctive and fresh, I was happy and decided to make a vintage poster since Mullet was a golden hairstyle and statement of the 80's and was popular among young men when posters of such style with poppy colours were also in fashion.

I used MidJourney to create the subject and the rest of the postern was made using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Here are some facts that you should know if you are trying to grow a mullet ! -

>The mullet is a distinctive haircut with short hair at the front and sides and long hair at the back.

>It takes about 2-3 haircuts to achieve the desired shape of a mullet.

>The first step is growing out the hair to get the necessary length at the back.

>The initial haircut involves trimming the front and sides shorter while leaving the back longer.

>After a few weeks of growth, the subsequent haircuts focus on refining and shaping the mullet.

>Regular maintenance and styling are important to keep the mullet looking its best.
Consult with a professional stylist to determine if the mullet is suitable for your hair type, face shape, and personal style.

>The mullet is a bold and unconventional choice that can be a fun and nostalgic statement haircut.
